For more than a decade, EPIC’s team on the ground in India has worked hand-in-hand with government and industry partners to identify innovative ideas that could address India’s most pressing energy and environmental challenges, pilot these ideas on the ground, and rigorously measure outcomes using cutting-edge research approaches. EPIC-India’s robust model ensures the right questions are being answered and results can be scaled up into lasting policy changes. Since launching in 2014, EPIC-India’s research has pioneered new approaches to addressing energy and environmental challenges in India and beyond and its findings have directly shaped public policy.
